Dr. Jerome Obed
Jerome R. Obed, DO, FAOCD, FAAD, is a native Floridian who has been living in South Florida for the past 20 years. After graduating from the University of Florida with Honors in both Zoology and Human Nutrition, he attended medical school at A.T. Still University in Kirksville, Missouri. Dr. Obed then returned to Florida, where he completed two residencies at Broward Health Medical Center; the first in Family Medicine and the second in Dermatology. For three years he worked as a board-certified physician practicing urgent care, critical care, and sports medicine before transitioning into his true passion, the field of Dermatology.
In his position as an Associate Professor, Dr. Obed plays an integral role in the education of medical students and residents. He is involved in extensive clinical research and lectures regularly to his peers. In his free time, Dr. Obed enjoys working as a Certified Ringside Physician, where he is entrusted to care for elite athletes both inside and outside of the ring. He has been a Ringside Physician for over 500 professional and amateur events over the last 16 years, making regular appearances on numerous television networks.
Dr. Obed’s unique path and training translate into unparalleled care for his patients. This preparation, paired with the use of the latest technologies, helps his patients to achieve and maintain healthy skin that will last a lifetime.
Dr. Rachel Schleichert
Rachel Schleichert, MD, earned her medical degree from The Ohio State University, where she graduated as a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha honor society. After completing her dermatology residency at the University of Maryland, she trained in a dually accredited fellowship for Mohs surgery and cosmetic surgical dermatology at the Skin Institute of South Florida.
Dr. Schleichert is a board certified dermatologist and a Fellow of the American Board of Dermatology. She has authored several scientific journal articles and is an active member of the American College of Mohs Surgery and the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery. She is a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Maryland.
Brittney Miller, Licensed Esthetician
Brittney is a licensed esthetician and skin enthusiast. She grew up in rural Pennsylvania but has been living in South Florida now for over 10 years. Her specialties include Hydrafacials, Chemical Peels, Skin Tightening, Laser Resurfacing, and Laser Hair Removal. She has always been passionate about her skin and takes pride in educating her patients on specific regimens that will keep their skin healthy. Outside of medicine, Brittney enjoys hot yoga, working out, and cooking.
Duane Hatton, Switchboard & Scheduling
Duane is a former singer/actor/sun-worshipper who has specialized in telecommunications for over 15 years. He most recently supervised a national call center for over 10 years, but decided to join our practice in 2022 after being a long-standing patient and friend. We are extremely blessed to have him work with us, and he is eager to take your call!
